Toxic has seen a turbulent release calendar. It was originally slated to clash with Dhurandhar 2 on March 19, 2026, but escalating geopolitical tensions in the Middle East (a major overseas market) forced a delay to June 4. The makers eventually shifted it to a final August release to properly align global distribution deals and ensure the film gets the massive worldwide theatrical footprint it demands.
Setting the Record Straight: No Reshoots!
Despite widespread internet rumors claiming that Yash was unhappy with the final cut and demanded an expensive 100-day reshoot, the production banner (KVN Productions) has officially rubbished these claims. The team confirmed that the movie is 100% complete, and the sole reason for the current delay is locking in proper international release partnerships.
